Truck Racing and Fireworks at Brands Hatch

Is there anything more fun than watching truck racing? We didn’t think so until we discovered British Truck Racing AND fireworks at Brands Hatch! This is two amazing spectacles in one, with over 100 trucks racing around the iconic Brands Hatch circuit, followed by one of the best, most impressive fireworks shows in the whole of the south east.

Two thrilling days of racing

The action takes place over two days, Saturday 2^nd and Sunday 3^rd of November. The headline races form part of the MV Commercial British Truck Racing Association Championship, and there are plenty of support races too. There’s the Junior Saloon Car Championship, The Pickup Truck Racing Championship, the Legends Car Championship and the BARC Super Silhouette Championship.

So much more going on

Off track there’s lots to see and do, it’s a real party atmosphere. The fireworks take place on the Sunday after sunset, around 5:15pm and that’s an extravaganza you really shouldn’t miss but there’s plenty more besides to keep you entertained between the races on the circuit. There’ll be over a hundred big shiny trucks for you to check out and on the Sunday there’s a truck parade that precedes the fireworks display. With all their lights ablaze, it’s a fitting precursor to the fireworks! When the fireworks finish, don’t be in a rush to leave as you can stay and listen to Kieran, the number 1 Ed Sheeran soundalike!

New for 2019 is an ice rink. If you fancy skating then book early as places for this are limited. Or you can head to the big top for a circus show, magician show and the chance for the kids to learn some circus skills such as plate spinning, diablo and juggling. There’s also face painting, a climbing wall, a giant slide and a full fairground.

Try a new experience

For the adults and older children, you’ll find lots of opportunities to try something new. You can take a ride in a drifting Caterham, drive a real American truck or even have a ride in a Monster Truck that seats 10 passengers at once.

Make a weekend of it

With on-site camping available and plenty of hotels close to the circuit, it’s easy to spend the weekend enjoying all that the British Truck Racing & Fireworks Show has to offer. It’s a brilliant, dazzling event and the perfect way to start the winter season in style!
