HomeMotoring UKHead to the Coast for the Lancing Motor Show 2019 Jayne Henry October 22, 2019 Motoring UK Speedyreg – Lancing Motor Show 2019 Now in its fourth year, the Lancing Motor Show likes to do things a little differently every year, so if you’ve been before, it’s certainly worth going again as no two shows are quite the same and there’ll always be some new surprises. The show is held at Lancing Beach Green, conveniently close to Brighton City Airport so if you’re not in the south, you could always book a flight down and make it a special trip to remember. What’s on at Lancing 2019? This year you can see more than 800 vehicles. It’s an eclectic mix with something to delight everyone. From classics to modern cars, you’ll see some fantastic modified vehicles and classic muscle cars from the States. Motorcycle enthusiasts won’t be disappointed either as there are always lots of bikes on display, and taking a look at the entries for the Show & Shine Competition is always fun, except that it makes you feel guilty that you don’t put that much time and effort into keeping your own car beautiful, gleaming and spotless! The show this year is sponsored by Worthing Estate Agents Robert Luff & Co and they will be offering up the chance to win some prizes at the event so do look out for their stand. Perfect for all the family There’s a lot of focus on keeping the kids entertained at the Lancing Show, so you don’t have to worry that the little ones are going to get bored while you’re looking at all 800 vehicles on display. There are amusement rides, bouncy castles and face painting to keep them happy. Don’t arrive late! Just one word of warning for anyone thinking of popping along to the Lancing Motor Show, the admittance is from 7am for display cars and 7.30am for everyone else, but don’t turn up at lunchtime thinking you’ll just take a quick look for the afternoon as the gates shut at 10.30am and you won’t be allowed in. Likewise, the gates won’t re-open until 4.30pm, so if you need to leave before then you’ll need to speak to a marshal to organise your departure. Incredibly good value If you’ve blown your family trip out budget over the summer, you don’t need to miss out on the Lancing Motor Show as it’s free to get in! Even the exhibitor tickets are only £2 so it’s a great cheap day out. Parking is available close to the event for £1.50 for the whole day.
