Bringing Route 66 to the Heart of London – It’s the Regent Street Motor Show

On Saturday 2^nd November, a stroll along London’s Regent Street will be a completely different experience. From Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Circus the street is pedestrianised for this awesome show which opens at 10:30am and closes at 4:00pm.

A great day out

You’ll find so much to see and do at the Illinois Route 66 Regent Street Motor Show this year, you can literally spend all day there and it’s family friendly too with special events and areas for the kids.

Step back in time

Head to the Classic Motoring Zone for an array of cars from the 60s and 70s. There will be special displays commemorating 60 years of the Mini and 50 years of the Capri. The Motorsport Zone is the place to get a view of historic motor racing vehicles and also the British Touring Car Championship winning car.

The Bonhams Veteran Car Zone will be particularly impressive. This is the biggest Concours d’Elegance of veteran cars in the world with more than 100 pre-1905 vehicles in attendance before they head on to the Bonhams London to Brighton Run the next day.

The American Dream

if you love Americana, you’ll have a fantastic time in the Illinois Route 66 Zone. This is certainly an area to linger a while as there’s a special Blues Brothers Tribute performing here and look out for a chance to win the chance to go on your own Route 66 adventure! Of course this zone also plays host to a wide range of classic American vehicles.

Modern Delights

Head to the Motoring Today Zone for the latest supercars on display, and latest motorbikes from Triumph and Harley-Davidson. There will also be a special area specialising in electric vehicle technologies.

Fun for the little ones

The Kids Zone offers fun and entertainment for kids aged between four and ten. There’s a dance troupe performing here every 30 minutes and there’s also the chance to have a go at karting or have your photo taken with a 1930s fire engine.

Head out on the highway with a 66 plate
