An Exciting Way to Support a Good Cause this Weekend

Head to the Castle Combe Circuit, five miles west of Chippenham on Saturday 26^th October to take part in Supercar Saturday and help raise money for the Stroke Association. This is an amazing day out where you get to take part in the action. There will around 60 cars you can choose to take a ride in, and head onto the track with one of the experienced drivers who have all donated their time free of charge.

Booking your track time

The cost to ride starts at £30 and increases dependant on driver and vehicle. Or you can simply pay £30 for a lucky dip ticket and get the next available vehicle. Sounds like a fun surprise to me! Your ride takes you on a full five laps of the circuit and the younger members of the family are also welcome to have a go as long as they don’t legally require a booster seat, so that’s 135cm tall or over 12 years of age.

Not only do you get to take to the track as a passenger, but you can also get behind the wheel yourself with the Bristol Motor Club Top Gear styled slalom challenge. There’s also the opportunity to have coaching in your own car.

Plenty more to keep you occupied for a fun filled day

While you’re waiting for your track time you’ll find plenty to see in the paddock with many car clubs attending to exhibit their vehicles. The Cafe and Racing Shop will be open for the day and if you’re looking for accommodation you’ll find plenty of options in the area from camping and self catering to five star hotels.

All proceeds to a very worthy cause

Entry to the show itself costs £5 for adults, OAPs pay £2.50 and children get in free. The gates open at 9:00am with the first rides being available from 9:30am. All proceeds go to the Stroke Association, to help people rebuild their lives after a stroke, and to help fund vital research.
