HomeMotoring UKBHRC Heads to Yorkshire Seaside Jayne Henry September 27, 2019 Motoring UK, Personalised Number Plates Good Luck for the weekend Simon Webster- Speedyreg Our sponsored BHRC driver Simon Webster along with team mate Jez Rogers will be heading to Filey with their Ford Focus Mk2 on Saturday for the final round of the FUCHS LUBRICANTS Motorsport UK British Historic Rally Championship. This could be their first ever BHRC title, but there are four other teams also competing for the title so it’s going to be pretty tense! Of course we’re biased and will be cheering on Simon in the car with the SpeedyReg logo on it! Simon Webster has certainly done us proud with a fantastic win on the Red Kite which led to the addition of two asphalt events to make that title bid. Their main competitors are Stanley Orr and Graham Henderson just two points behind. Other teams close behind that could also be in with a chance of grabbing the title are Adrian Hetherington, Rudi Lancaster and Joe Price. If Webster beats Orr, that would be the perfect result, but a second place in this round would also secure him the title. However, this race sees a return of Nick Elliot and Matthew Robinson who could well grab the big points this round. But with this course set over 45 miles with a stage in the depths of the Dalby forest, who knows what will happen! The weather in Yorkshire has been very changeable over the last few days, with brilliant sunshine one day followed by torrential rain the next and of course that can change everything as we’ve seen with the UCI World Championship cycling event that is also taking place in Yorkshire this week. We wish luck and safe driving to all the competitors, but just a little extra luck goes out to Simon and Jez.
