HomeMotoring UKIt’s All About Families at CarFest North Jayne Henry July 25, 2019 Motoring UK Car Fest North – Speedy Reg This weekend, from 26th to 28th July, head to Bolesworth in Cheshire for CarFest North. This fantastic car show was founded by Chris Evans and unlike other car shows that may have a small children’s area as an afterthought, this entire festival is geared up for families. The purpose of the show is to help families make fantastic new memories, as well as supporting children’s charities, with 25% of each ticket sold going direct to charity. You know your kids are going to have an amazing time, as many of the events and things to do at the show have been chosen by The CarFest Kids Panel. Nothing happens at CarFest without full kid approval! The Cars There are 2 paddocks to look around and here you’ll find an awesome selection of vehicles. Hear the roar of the loudest cars, get up close to some of the world’s fastest cars and have a laugh at some of the funniest cars! There’s also a 2.2km circuit all around the show where you’ll be able to watch amazing cars in action. The Music Who needs Glastonbury when you’ve got CarFest! Hosted by Chris Evans himself, over the weekend you’ll get the chance to see some top stars including The Jacksons, Jools Holland, All Saints, Kaiser Chiefs, Texas and many more. The show even has its own supergroup which combines the amazing talents of KT Tunstall, Sheridan Smith, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and The Feeling. Wow, that is going to be one fantastic show that you’ll never get the chance to see anywhere else. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the Wigwam Stage which plays host to even more fantastic acts throughout the festival. Amazing thrills for kids There’s so much for kids of all ages at CarFest. There’s a skate park, a wooden fort to explore with Dick and Dom on hand to entertain. There’s a roller disco, the opportunity to play instruments made from recycled metal and the Zorb Zone offering fun water activities. Step Back in Time The vintage area sees you transported back in time. Here you’ll find some great musical performances in the style of yesteryear, a steam powered fairground, a circus with breathtaking shows and the daredevil motorcyclists challenging their skills against The Wall of Death. Need to Relax? If you’d like to step away from the action and find a little inner peace, step into Eden. Here you can enjoy a massage, take part in a yoga class or chill out in a hot tub.
