JapFest – A Silverstone Spectacular Event 

Europe’s biggest celebration of Japanese cars in here for the fourth year running at the iconic Silverstone Circuit. JapFest brings you more than 3500 cars on display and so much more besides. Join over 16,000 attendees on Sunday May 5^th for a day out that’s out of this world for Japanese vehicle fans.

So much to see

Highlights of the festival include a special display to celebrate 50 years of the Nissan Skyline GT-R trim. You’ll get to see GT-Rs from the classic Hakasuka to the latest R35 model. Of course there’s another anniversary this year too, the Mazda MX-5 celebrates its 30^th birthday and so you’ll see a big MX-5 presence at JapFest this year, in partnership with the Mazda MX-5 Owners Club. There are big displays from Swift Rallycross Championship and Fast Car Magazine, and the Show and Shine competition returns, good luck to all entrants!

You also mustn’t miss the Drift Kings, where 40 drivers from the British Drift Championship will be joined by front runners from the DriftCup. They’ll take to the track for three 40 minute sessions and you’ll see drivers hitting drift speeds of over 100mph.

With a massive array of displays and retail opportunities too, it’s a fully packed day out.

Get involved

There’s plenty of action that you can get involved in too. The Sprint Test gives you the chance to take 3 runs on the iconic Silverstone track for the title of fastest sprint of the day. You can enter in one of three categories, FWD, RWD or 4WD. If you’ve always wanted to feel like a F1 driver and take your Japanese car onto the Silverstone circuit, you’ll have the chance of a 20 minute track session, you can even take a passenger with you. No track experience is needed so it’s a great introduction for beginners fulfilling that lifetime dream.

Tickets are £25 in advance or £30 on the door and includes a free souvenir show guide worth £5. Parking is free and camping is available too at the Whittlebury Park Campsite.
