St Patrick might be the patron saint of Ireland, but St Patrick’s Day is celebrated in many countries around the world by Irish emigrants, descendants of Irish emigrants, or just anyone who wants to be an honorary Irishman (or woman) for the day. St Patrick’s Day knows no boundaries, everyone is welcome to join in, sing some songs and have a pint of Guinness! Why can’t you borrow money from a leprechaun? Because they’re always a little short.
