Of course, some people are positive he didn’t actually die back in 1977, with many ‘sightings’ of him being reported over the years! Whether you’re a fan of his music or not, there’s no denying ‘the King’ was certainly a massive music icon and still has a huge following to this day. If you love Elvis, you might like to check out some of our plates that would be perfect on the car of any Elvis fan… Elvis and his cars Elvis loved cars. Perhaps none more so than his pink Cadillac. He bought a 1954 model, but it caught fire after 3 months and so he ordered another one in 1955. This one was blue, but he had it repainted pink! He eventually gave this car to his mother, even though she didn’t have a driving license. He also owned a 1956 Cadillac Eldorado. Legend has it that this car was originally white but Elvis smeared some grapes onto it and asked for the car to be repainted the same colour. The last car Elvis ever owned for the super cool two door Ferrari Dino, and this vehicle can now be seen on display at the Auto Museum at Graceland. Other cars Elvis owned include, amongst others, a Rolls Royce Phantom V. a Stutz Blackhawk, a BMW 507 and a Mercedes-Benz 600.
