Jayne Henry July 31, 2018 Registrations UFC 227 is all set to take place in Los Angeles on August 4th (which will actually be the early hours of the 5th for us!). The original plan was for a superfight between bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw and flyweight titlist Demetrious Johnson, but those plans never came to fruition. We’ve got something just as good though, a double whammy of rematches and you’ll still get to see Dillashaw and Johnson, just not at the same time! Two rematch events The rematches will see Dillashaw defending his title against Cody Garbrant as the headline fight. The outspoken Dillashaw has stated that he’s going to ruin Cody Garbrant’s career at UFC 227 so this is certainly one that’s going to be worth a watch! Next up is the second rematch which features Johnson vs. Henry Cejudo. On the undercard Of course there’s more, so among others, you’ll also get to see Polyana Viana vs JJ Aldrich and Cub Swanson vs Renato Moicano.
