Simon has been doing very well and their latest race was particularly eventful! Along with his new co-driver Jez Rogers, they gained the lead in round four of the Fuchs Lubricants MSA British Historic Rally Championship Red Kite Stages. But then disaster struck, a puncture and a wheel in a ditch will certainly have added to the thrills and spills for the spectators but it did hinder them and they lost their lead, but they did still come in third! Well done Simon! Could it all be down to his ‘lucky’ Speedy Reg logos on the 1998 Ford Escort RS 1800 he drives? Well, we’d like to think we’ve played a part, but no, we can’t take any credit, it’s all down to Simon’s skill, awesome driving ability and quick thinking! So we wish Simon and Jez lots of luck for future races and look forward to bringing you more updates soon!
