Congratulations Wimbledon Winners!

We’ve been glued to our screens watching all the Wimbledon action and now it’s all over, but it’s been exciting and we would like to offer our congratulations to the Wimbledon winners for 2018.

Novak Djokovic won his fourth Wimbledon title beating Kevin Anderson in three sets, an amazing feat we’re sure you’ll agree. Congratulations also go to Angelique Kerber, winning her first Wimbledon title with an amazing victory over Serena Williams.

13 may be unlucky for some, but not for Djokovic  – this 13^th Gram Slam title puts him fourth on the list for the greatest number of men’s singles titles. Top of the list to date is Roger Federer with 20 titles to his name. Interestingly, this was the first ever time in the Open Era that the men’s singles has been played with both player being over the age of 30.

While Wimbledon might be over, it certainly doesn’t mean that we have to forget about tennis. With the summer heatwave still in full swing, it’s the perfect weather to get out and play tennis yourself! It’s a great way to get some exercise and it’s fun for the whole family.
