He was born on the 11th of November 1974 so he’ll be celebrating his 43rd birthday! Some things you might not know about Leonardo… He is called Leonardo because his mother was looking at a painting by Leonardo da Vinci when he first kicked in the womb. Leonardo donated a million dollars to the Haiti Earthquake relief efforts. He has also given a lot of money to LGBT causes. He nearly turned down the role in Titanic as he thought it wasn’t the sort of film he wanted to make. As a child he suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder. He has been given an Environmental Leadership Award by Global Green USA. Leonardo owns an island off the coast of Belize. His first TV role was on the children’s show Romper Room when he was five, but he was dismissed for being too disruptive! So what plate would we pick out for a birthday present for Leonardo?
