Northern Ireland We’re Right Behind You! #GAWA

For the first time since 1986 Northern Ireland have qualified for Euro 2016 and as we’re massive fans here at Speedy Reg this is very exciting news!

We wondered how to show our support and threw some ideas around the office. We could watch the matches and wave flags, we could even bake some green and white cupcakes, but no, this was not enough. So we hatched a more impressive plan.

We decided it would be great fun to drive to France with our favourite NI supporters plate of the moment G16 AWA! We could chat with supporters, visit the sights and of course watch the match! But who would we send? Well obviously competition was fierce but in the end Craig decided he was up to the challenge so he’ll be setting off on Saturday. If you’re planning on going yourself then do look out for him and say hello!

The #GAWA spirit has totally taken over our office and we wish the team the best luck in the world. We’ll all be avidly watching the matches, especially Sharon as her husband is jetting off to France too. So Sharon’s joining the ranks of the #GAWAWIDOW

Do you have a favourite player you’ll be cheering for? We do! We have a big soft spot for the brilliant Roy Carroll as he’s a local lad! He went to school in Lisbellaw where the Speedy Reg offices are based, and not only that, I have my very own claim to fame as I went to school with him! Sadly I was never quite as good as him on the sports field though! So while we’re cheering for The Green and White Army, we’ll be especially rooting for Roy!
