From just £199 + VAT +£80 Transfer fee you can have your very own DVLA style personalised registration transferred straight to your vehicle within 10 to 15 working days. Previously you would have to transfer the registration to a donor vehicle in GB before transferring to your vehicle in Northern Ireland. This would have cost you extra and would have taken longer to do. If you want to keep your number plate but don’t have another vehicle to transfer it to, from 21st July you will be able to use a Certificate of Retention. In order to do this you will need a V317 application to transfer form and complete the section to retain a registration. You will also need to send off a cheque for £105 payable to DVLA along with your vehicle documents. If you wish to transfer your registration to another vehicle again you will need to complete a V317 form in the transferring a registration section and also fill out the receiving vehicle details. Send both sets of vehicle documents along with a cheque for £80.00 payable to DVLA directly to DVLA Swansea SA99 1DS.
