14 plates on the way

Register your vehicle between March 2014 and September 2014 and you’ll be issued with a 14 plate. This new release is set to cause some excitement with personalised number plate enthusiasts as the number 14 can easily represent the letters IA or LA giving lots of scope for personalised plates.  Perfect if your name is Diana for example! The number 14 will be the third and fourth characters on the plate.

You must remember though, that the DVLA state that you cannot use a plate that makes your car look younger than it is, so you’ll only be able to purchase a 14 plate if your car was manufactured after March 2014. But don’t worry, you can still hide the age of an older vehicle by picking out one of our cheap dateless Irish number plates.
