HomePersonalised Number PlatesFancy buying a piece of film history? Jayne Henry July 16, 2013 Personalised Number Plates, Registration Industry What is perhaps the coolest car in the world is coming up for sale at auction in September this year. The car in question is the actual Lotus Esprit submarine car from the 1977 Bond classic The Spy Who Loved Me. What more could you possibly want? You’ve got a car that’s also a submarine, it’s been featured in a Bond film and it’s been driven by Roger Moore. It isn’t even just a dummy prop either, it’s a fully working submarine car. You’ll probably need deep pockets to buy this though. The last Bond car sold was the Aston Martin DB5 that featured in the film Goldfinger and that sold for a cool £2.9 million back in 2010. Of course you’d want a great number plate for this car. We think RM03 SPY would be a good one. Or perhaps MS13 BOND?
