Blandings on the BBC

The team at Speedy Reg are very excited about the release of BBC comedy ‘Blandings’, which is set to hit screens this Sunday. One of the main reasons why we are so excited is due to the fact that the series was filmed a short distance from the Speedy Reg offices at Crom Castle, Newtownbutler County Fermanagh. We hope that this will prove to be a very successful series and put our little County on the map. The comedy is based on the extremely popular novel series ‘Blandings Castle and Elsewhere’ by renowned English comedy novelist P.G Wodehouse, who is also known for creating the ‘Jeeves and Wooster’ series made famous by actor and comedian Stephen Fry. For all you P.G Wodehouse fans out there we have the perfect private plate to add to your Wodehouse collection, PGW 47. We look forward to seeing the series this Sunday.
