The new tax disc will be slightly larger in size, such as the example above. It is rumoured that the DVLA has spent over 10 million pounds, installing the new printing equipment to faciliate the larger Tax Discs. In the current times of austerity and hardship in the country this is a scandalous mis-use of Taxpayer’s money. The DVLA have also announced that the Police will be strictly enforcing this new Law and noncompliance will result in an issue of a fixed penalty fine of £60, for the first offence.
