The artist, who is the son of the late actor Anthony Quinn, has installed his piece in central London’s Park Lane as part of the City of Sculpture Festival. He has featured a fiat 500 as this was the first car he purchased and the aluminium child’s hand is modelled on his son.

Lorenzo Quinn saved up for his first from his early works and in his own words the care represented his “Independence, Freedom and Personal Growth”. He goes on to say , “This sculpture represents the innocence and excitement about the little things that make us happy”

The famous Artist Damien Hirst is set to hire the Lorenzo as his a apprentice to help him create the next £10m masterpiece.

The piece has also been installed outside the Institute of Modern Art in Valencia, Spain, for three months over the summer, after which it was selected to be displayed in the ‘Beyond’ section at the Abu Dhabi Art Fair in November.
