DVLA Auction
The first DVLA Auction of 2011, started yesterday at the “Imperial War Museum”, The Quays, Manchester. It is the first auction to be hit with the new 20% rate, so it will be interesting to see if this will affect the amount of Lots sold.
Top Prices Achieved within the first hour
Lot 1: 1968 A: reserve price of £2600, sold for £4000 hammer price.
Lot 65: 91 AR: reserve price of £2700, sold for £5500 hammer price
It is interesting to note that 7 lots out of the first 50, which went on sale yesterday we left unsold.
Top Prices achieved at 2pm
Lot 188: 777 CB: reserve price of £2600, sold for £5400 hammer price.
Lot 274: 98 DC: reserve price of £2800, sold for £6200 hammer price
